For a start, lets have some fun! Join us to have relax and leisure activities such as 'kayaking' etc tomorrow (24 July 2009) at Kelab Tasik Putrajaya, Presinct 8!

Gather Venue : DSS/MPH

Transportation : Own transportation / Car pool / Convoi

(Please gather to do name checklist and short taklimat)

Gather Time : 1700hrs

End Time : 1900hrs

Venue : Kelab Tasik Putrajaya, Presint 8, Putrajaya.(10 mins travel from UNITEN)

Fees: RM 5 (compulsary!)

Own items : Camera, Drinks etc

BREAKING NEWS : URI 2009 POSTPONED!

A very good day to Uniten Rowers. It was a spurise news I received from informers regarding this year Uniten Rowing Invitational 2009. As what from I have been informed, URI 2009 this year has been postponed to a new unknown date. The original date was to be scheduled on 29th JULY 09 - 1 August 09. The Uniten authorities have decided to postponed the event due to the spread of H1N1 virus occured in our country. Thus, this result of little participation in this event from international and local universities.

However, as I was again informed, there will be training (ergo , gym, rowing etc) as usual scheduled this open semester. Let us pray for this event to be re-held as soon as possible.

Alumni Rowing Club is currently searching for alumni rowers, who had involved in rowing sports since its early establishment, to be participating in this upcoming URI event. ARC is to gather all alumni rowers, to be formed as a team which will be led and handled by ARC itself.

Pihak ARC mencadangkan untuk diadakan 2 team lelaki dan 1 team perempuan.

URC's Executive Council will be having a tentative gathering for its members and the URC alumni. Details:

Clubs & Societies Mini Bazaar 08/09

DATE : 16 & 17 DECEMBER 2008

TIME : 5.00PM – 11.00PM

VENUE : FOODCOURT II, MASJID UNITEN (UPTEN)

MPP will be organizing a MINI BAZAAR from 16th to 17th December, venue at Food Court II, Masjid UNITEN (UPTEN). This event is organized to create an opportunity for all the societies and clubs to promote during this 2nd semester to all students in UNITEN. And also, this is the chance for all the UNITEN students, especially for the freshies to know more about the societies and clubs in UNITEN...

This event will start from 5.00pm and end at 11.00pm. If student are interested to join this event, please make a visit to UPTEN and you will find a lot of societies and clubs here. There are also performance from some societies and clubs that are very interesting. Please help us to promote this event. So, just make a visit to MINI BAZAAR and you will find lot of fun!

NO MORE MASUM

I'd like to take this opportunity to inform everyone that we from UNITEN are not going to enter any events in MASUM from now on. All sports which are organized by MASUM will only be participated by IPTAs. IPTSs have been excluded from MASUM and will only compete in an even just like MASUM but we call it as MASISWA. This update was given by the MASUM Technical committee.

By all means, we are not going to participate in any events in MASUM 2008.

UPDATE: We attended MASUM 08 after a last minute invitation was sent out to us. Results will be in the next few posts. We will be attending future MASUMs (i.e. 2009).

Notice: UNITEN Rowing Clinic

Assalamualaikum and Good day

Hereby glad to inform that Kelab Rowing Uniten will be organizing a program that is designed to:

1. Give an exposure to all new members about the Rowing sports.
2. Provide a basic training to the club members.
3. Preparing apprentices for the UNITEN rowing team in representing the University, UNITEN in various Rowing competition.

It is opened to all existing Kelab Rowing Uniten members, and to anyone that is interested to join (all Uniten Students). This program is limited to 40 participants.
