Past Rowing Events

Just wanted to inform you guys/gals the past events that the rowing club has participated in:

1. First Annual Uniten Rowing Invitation

-Was held during the special semester of year 2004/2005
-We got third place out of six universities that participated in the event
(kita punya bot lapan dapat nombor tiga...but there were only three boats in the event (-_-)''' )

2. MASUM 2006

-Was held on May 2006 at Kelab Tasik Putrajaya
-We participated in the 4+ and 4- category
-Got second and third place!!!

3. Pesta Sukan Air Putrajaya

-Held on June 2006
-Participated in the double scull event...but i think we lost pretty badly...

4. Merlion Rowing Championship

-Held on July 2006...in SINGAPORE!!!! (believe it or not...we are the second club in Uniten to ever participate in a sporting event outside of Malaysia!!!)
-Participated in the 4- category

5. Second Annual Uniten Rowing Invitation

-Was held on 4-6 August 2006
-We participated in all of the events ( 4+, 4-, single scull, double scull and 8 boat)
-We got second and third place in the 4+ and 4- category respectively. In the 8 boat event we got third place...ok lah, considering that there were 4 boat competing...unlike the first Uniten Rowing Invitation!

6. Kejohanan Mendayung Universiti 2006

-Was held on the 13-16 September
-Organized by UKM, Majlis Sukan Universiti Malaysia and Kementerian Pengajian Tinggi Malaysia
-We participated in all of the events ( 4+, 4-, single scull, double scull and 8 boat)
-We got third and second place in the 4+ and 4- category respectively and the woman boat 8 team got an amazing third place!!! Tetapi bot lelaki dapat last place...takleh harap betul...
